Unity® Accounting 5.2.9 Release

Unity® Accounting Release: Friday, March 8 @ 5:30 pm PST

As part of our commitment to maintaining and enhancing Unity® Accounting, we will be performing system maintenance on Friday, March 8, 2024 (date may be subject to change with notice). The application will be unavailable from 5:30 pm to 11 pm PST.

The next time you use the application, please update Unity® Accounting by following your usual update process:

  1. Prepare for the update by following the instructions found here: Preparing for an update
  2. Once you receive the notification asking you to update to the latest version (Unity® Accounting 5.2.9), click on ‘update’.  If you skip the prompt or don’t get one, you can manually download the latest version.
  3. Please subscribe to the System Status Page for notices related to maintenance and availability.

What’s new in this release: 

In this release, we’re pleased to present a number of bug fixes and enhancements that will greatly improve your user experience with Unity® Accounting.

  1. Integration with Unity® Practice ManagementL: Unity® Practice Management users can now initiate the Unity® Accounting application directly from within Unity® Practice Management.
  2. Global Settings – Edit Company: Users can now save the Account’s other Company global settings data without receiving an incorrect message about an open window.
  3. Reports: QST Billed Collected Report now captures ‘Write Off’ for Quebec provincial users.
