September 2019 ESILAW 360 Update

The following items have been added, updated or addressed in the latest ESILAW 360 update.

  • Added new integration between ESILAW 360 and econveyance to allow end users to share client information between the two applications and transfer transactions from econveyance into ESILAW 360. Transactions that can be transferred include fees, disbursements and trust. ESILAW 360 users have the option to review and accept or reject transactions transferred from econveyance. The integration eliminates redundant data entry, potential errors and results in a significant time savings. Note that you must be using ESILAW 360 Cloud in order to use the client exchange functionality of the integration, which is used to share client information between both applications. All other integration functionality will work on both ESILAW 360 desktop and cloud.
  • Changed the Refund feature in ESILAW to allow refunding both overpayments or regular payments. Previously it was restricted to refunding overpayments only.
  • Under Chart of Accounts, added a new Bank Client Number field to all bank accounts. This is required by some banks on deposit slips and will now display on slips created in ESILAW 360.
  • Two new UTBMS e-bill formats have been added; LEDES 2.0 (XML) and LEDES Intact 98BI (text).
  • Changed the Make Deposits feature so that it does not select deposits automatically when the window is opened. This is to improve consistency in the application and adhere to industry standard UI/UX functionality.
  • Added a new option on the Interest on Disbursements report to allow users to charge interest on disbursements, other charges or both.
  • Added a new option in Global Settings to enable or disable the notification counter on the toolbar and to set a time interval for notification updates.
  • Added activity log integration between ESILAW 360 and the upcoming practice management application to allow tracking of changes made by specific users.
  • Enhanced the import functionality for trust receipts to allow user to import entire trust ledgers and include ‘funds-in and funds-out’ transactions (negative and positive transactions).
  • Miscellaneous enhancements and bug fixes.
