How to switch between single-user and multi-user mode in esiLaw 360

In this guide, we will walk you through the process of switching between single-user and multi-user modes in esiLaw 360.

**Important**

Single-user mode is intended for making changes to your system settings within esiLaw. For day-to-day tasks and operations, it is recommended to be in multi-user mode.

Switching from multi-user mode to single-user mode:

Steps:

  1. In esiLaw 360, click on File > Switch to Single-User Mode.
  2. Click OK on the prompt that appears.
  3. You are now in single-user mode.

More on single-user mode:

Typically, administrators utilize single-user mode to carry out specific tasks. For instance, you might need to restrict all users from accessing esiLaw 360 to close your financial year.

Additionally, certain sections of the software, such as the Maintenance menu, can only be accessed in single-user mode. This security measure guarantees that new global settings are applied uniformly to all users before they can enter new data.

Tip: It is recommended that you close your financial year in a single-user mode to ensure that no transactions are entered for the previous fiscal year.
