In this guide, we outline steps on how to install esiLaw 360. You can also watch the video at the bottom of this article.
Step 1 – Open your browser and visit the following link: install.esilaw.com
Step 2 – Click on Click here to download and install esiLaw 360
Step 3 – Once the esiLaw 360 setup file is downloaded, click on Open file
Step 4 – Click on Install
Once the installation is finished, you will see a prompt requesting your esiLaw Activation Key. You can find your esiLaw Activation Key in the welcome email sent after you start a trial or open a new account.
Step 5 – Copy and paste your Activation Key into the window prompt > click on Activate > click on OK
You will now be brought to the esiLaw Configuration and Installation Wizard.
Server Host Device
If you have a server host device, select the option On this computer > click on Finish.
esiLaw 360 Cloud
As a esiLaw 360 user, you are automatically signed up for an esiLaw 360 Cloud account, which keeps your database and files safe on our cloud servers. This is included with your esiLaw subscription.
Step 6 – Select the option ESILAW 360 Cloud > click on Finish
Step 7 – Click on OK
You will now be brought to the main Startup Wizard.
Step 8 – In the Company and Firm tab, fill in your company information > Click on Next
Step 9 – In the General Settings tab, choose the way you would like your client numbering to work (the default profile is typically the way most of our firms use esiLaw 360). You can also choose your date format here.
Step 10 – In the Financial Settings tab, you can change your financial year settings
Step 11 – In the Tax Settings tab, fill in your tax information like your CRA and PST business numbers, and tax settings for GST/HST/ and PST
Step 12 – In the User Account tab, create your username and password to log in to esiLaw 360. Please save your username and password somewhere safe.
Step 13 – In the Finalize Settings tab, click on Finish > click on OK
Step 14 – Enter your username and password > click on Login
Step 15 – Once you open esiLaw for the first time, you will be prompted to install some required supplementary applications.
You are now ready to start using esiLaw 360.
